Understanding Your Benefits

Before your first appointment we recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and asking the following questions.

  • Do I have mental health or behavioral health benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • What is my copay or coinsurance for outpatient mental health services?

  • Do I need a referral or prior authorization to begin therapy?

  • How many sessions per year does my plan cover?

Having this information before your first session helps avoid any surprises on your bill.

Private Pay

For clients who prefer not to use insurance or whose plan we do not accept, we offer private pay sessions at a rate of $100 to $125 per 50 minute session. Private pay offers complete confidentiality as no diagnosis or treatment information is shared with an insurance company.

HSA and FSA

We accept Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account cards as a form of payment. Most HSA and FSA plans cover outpatient mental health services. Check with your plan administrator to confirm your eligibility.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. We understand that life happens and handle these situations on a case by case basis.
