1. What services do you offer?

We provide individual counseling for adults and teens, addressing a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, and identity-related challenges. Our practice also supports veterans, first responders, LGBTQ+ and heterosexual individuals, students, professionals, and caregivers.

2. Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. We offer secure telehealth sessions that allow you to meet with your counselor from the comfort of your home or another private space. Online therapy is available to clients located in Washington, DC.

3. Do you accept insurance?

We are currently in-network with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and Aetna. If you have another insurance provider, we can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

4. How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can be helpful if you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or major life changes. Many clients also come to counseling for personal growth, self-understanding, or support during difficult transitions.

5. How long are counseling sessions?

Sessions are typically 45-55 minutes. The frequency of appointments depends on your goals and needs—many clients begin with weekly sessions and adjust over time.

7. Do you work with both LGBTQ+ and heterosexual clients?

Yes. Our practice welcomes clients of all identities. We are committed to providing affirming, inclusive care for LGBTQ+ individuals as well as heterosexual clients, ensuring that every person feels respected and supported.

8. Do you see teens or just adults?

We primarily work with adults but also see teens for individual counseling. Parents or guardians are welcome to schedule a consultation to learn more about how therapy can support their teen.

9. What can I expect in the first session?

The first session is focused on getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and identifying goals for therapy. This is also your chance to ask questions and make sure counseling feels like the right fit.

10. Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

We offer flexible scheduling, including some evening sessions, to accommodate busy professionals, caregivers, and students. Availability may vary by clinician.

11. How much does therapy cost?
